The brief:
To raise the media and industry profile of the distinguished HSJ award portfolio: HSJ Value; HSJ Patient Safety (including the annual Congress); HSJ Partnership and the flagship HSJ Award ceremonies via a proactive PR support programme.

Campaign:
- Working in partnership with the HSJ marketing and events teams (part of Wilmington plc) to strategically help in raising the profile of both the events as well as individual award entrants
- The ongoing activity includes securing quotes, soundbites, video content and photography from winners and attendees to use across social media.
- Writing a portfolio of press releases and publish-ready content for dissemination via comms partners working for NHS Trusts and private healthcare companies across the UK – further widening the PR reach and awareness of the HSJ Awards brand
- Compiling post-event ‘Success Packs’ to help capture all collateral and provide additional press and media relations support to all Winners and those Highly Commended. This includes working closely with NHS Trusts, corporate and charitable organisations to maximise both external media coverage and internal comms opportunities.
Influence & impact:
- Social media hashtags developed exclusively for the HSJ Awards regularly top Twitter as the number 1 trending # in the UK throughout the evening!
- Promoting the achievements of around 50 leading NHS Trusts and independent healthcare providers for each individual Awards ceremony
