Kick-starting Young People’s Dreams: Brand Ambassador Event

A trailblazing event hosted by super supplement expert Revive Active Brand Ambassador Niamh Fahey saw scores of teenage football fans from across the North West come together to share the love of the sport and celebrate life last week (Monday 20th May 2024).

Captain of Liverpool FC Women and Irish International Niamh Fahey, assisted by an accredited coaching team, ran a free training session on the 3G pitch at Marine AFC, Crosby, Liverpool for 80 young people aged between 14 and 18.  The after-school event (4.15pm – 7pm) called “Get Inspired On & Off the Pitch” in partnership with super supplement experts Revive Active, also included a talk by Niamh Fahey, covering her journey to becoming a successful pro-player and her advice for young people starting out in the sport. Niamh also enjoyed an informal chat and Q&A session with young attendees, reflecting on her life and career choices and sharing advice from her success on and off the pitch. Revive Active’s Nutritionist was also on hand to provide advice and tips on the right nutrition for aspiring footballers.

Niamh Fahey, Revive Active Brand Ambassador comments; “It was such fun to have all these young, enthusiastic players come together to enjoy a 90-minute training session. I love meeting young people who are passionate about the game – growing up there was no “girl’s team” as such and so I didn’t have as many role models to learn from or access to the resources and facilities that thankfully young people now have available to them. Getting young people into sport, exercise and good nutrition is also something I’m passionate about – and I firmly believe these type of events can help to form lifelong healthy habits.  So, I’m always happy to share my experience and hope that it can help to empower young women and show them it’s possible to pursue their dreams and perform at the highest level – whatever path they chose, from education, to sport, careers and beyond.”

Nicola Fitzmaurice, Marketing Manager at Revive Active said, “We’re absolutely delighted that Niamh was able to front and host this event as part of her Brand Ambassador role. She’s achieved so much in her playing career, alongside her academic achievements, and we knew this could act as a real inspiration to young people out there considering their own paths. At Revive Active, our mission is to get everyone moving and playing a range of sports at all levels from grass roots to elite, as part of an active lifestyle and balanced diet. We’d like to thank all the parents and young people who registered their interest in this event and those lucky enough to attend. The team at Marine FC have also been fantastic to work with, helping to make an event of this kind possible at this outstanding community football facility.”

At the event, attendees also enjoyed a hydrating drink taste test with super supplement Teen Revive.  Each guest received a take-home football boot bag including Teen Revive, drinks shaker and signed photo of Niamh.  Teen Revive is super supplement specifically formulated for teenagers (aged 13-18 years) containing 23 active ingredients to support a teenager’s active and healthy lifestyle including supporting the immune system, brain function, bone health and boosting energy levels.
