Hope On The Horizon…

On Tuesday 10th April, the award winning documentary series Horizon presented a brilliant programme on the advancements in cancer care and technology. The focus was on the work and developments at The Royal Marsden and the Institute of Cancer Research. Both patients and doctors were featured, highlighting the patient journey and some of the most up to date cancer treatments available today.

Trinity was pleased to see Cyberknife and the Da Vinci S receiving the recognition they deserve. As an agency, we have been working with The London Clinic for a number of years, and this was one of the first hospitals in the UK to offer CyberKnife (2009) for the treatment of inoperable or surgically complex tumours. The state-of-the-art robotic radiosurgery system is non-invasive and a pain free alternative to surgery for cancerous and non-cancerous tumours. The precision and accuracy to which Cyberknife is able to work allows the patient to receive a high dose of radiation while minimising exposure to surrounding healthy tissue and vital organs.
