Help Us To Tackle Medication Non-adherence

Print

Medication non-adherence is still a serious public health issue which has vast costs, both in terms of money but crucially patient lives. Public Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt recently quoted the cost of medicine wastage at a staggering annual £300 million in the UK alone.

Trinity PR is proud to be working with Omnicell, a leading provider of medication adherence packaging and automated healthcare solutions, to launch a new campaign at this year’s Pharmacy Show, to throw the spotlight on the sheer scale of the waste caused by prescription or medication non-adherence. The campaign, ‘Let’s Take Care of It’ coincides with a first of its kind ‘National Medication Adherence Week’ (16th to 23rd October 2015) which aims to raise awareness of the issue in the hope that it might focus the attention of all those in a position to instigate change.

As part of the campaign, we are inviting all those working in healthcare to sign up to a pledge at: www.letstakecareofit.com/pledge

Please pass on the message and help get as many people supporting the campaign as possible #letstakecareofit

Thank you for your support!
