Consumer products PR

Trinity PR has developed and managed a number of creative campaigns to target both trade and consumer media for household brands within the VMS, OTC, health, skincare & beauty sectors.

Our work in this area has seen us utilise a range of PR tactics to launch new products, announce packaging and formulation changes, manage POM to P switches, engage audiences via social media and digital platforms, as well as drive omnichannel trial and purchase.

For consumer health, beauty and wellness products, sampling campaigns are a mainstay of our offering, with NPD launches acting as a launchpad for editorial coverage. Getting products into the hands of the right journalists is key to influencing consumer audiences and our teams have nurtured strong relationships with leading staff and freelancer writing for lifestyle titles, platforms and broadcast shows to ensure a good return on investment from creative product mailers.

Working in partnership with influencers can also help to raise the profile of beauty and health products, driving interest and sales via creative content and discount codes.

We take a creative approach to events planning and can adapt to suit to your brief – whether it’s a product launch or maintaining awareness of an existing range. For example, we recently supported the launch of a new skincare range with an experiential journalist and beauty blogger event at an exclusive central London nail bar. We also co-ordinated a “Lunch and Learn” event to showcase and trial a full vitamin and mineral product range, inviting and briefing expert speakers, influencers and journalists. Bespoke branded assets that dovetail with a wider lifestyle theme are central to our plans, to ensure products appeal to and engage with media, influencer and ultimately consumers.

We believe that content for product PR needs to be authentic and informative. That’s why we regularly recommend working with relevant health care professional and beauty ambassadors to support ongoing product PR campaigns and provide credible, independent advice to consumers. For example, we have worked closely with experts such as podiatrists, trichologists, celebrity hair stylists, fitness coaches, dermatologists, GPs and nutritionists to provide media comments, author topical features and attend journalist and influencer events as Brand Ambassadors.
